Kale and Mango Smoothie

Refreshing!

1 frozen banana

1 mango, peeled

2-3 large leaves kale, remove stems

1/2 lime, juiced

1 1×2″ piece fresh ginger

4 dates, pitted

1/8 tsp. tumeric

2 cups water

Blend all well. Let this vitamin rich drink work best by holding it in your mouth for a bit (& chew) to blend with saliva and maximize the digestion process. Tumeric is an anti-bacterial, anti-inflamitory, detoxifier, has been used for depression, weight management, and it’s shown to be good for the skin.
